Full Name: Elizabeth-Christine-Makeda Flint
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Elizabeth is my character submission for this Treasure Planet fic me and are planning out…slowly…
Anyways, Elizabeth is the daughter of pirate Captain Flint from Treasure Planet.
Because I thought her having 3 sets of eyes was a little creepy and she would be a bit young to be his daughter I decided to make her half (whatever Flint’s Species is) and half Siren (being her mother).
A bit like a genie, Sirens can live for hundreds of years and are bound to a particular object (usually a piece of treasure of sorts) and are to grant whomever comes across this treasure a life of servitude.
Elizabeth’s mother was one such Siren whom Flint came in contact with on his travels. Through piracy he obtained her and she became his possession.
Sirens are blue and very beautiful creatures and while they don’t exactly have the powers of a genie, they can do some cool things like lead their owner to whatever their heart’s desire (kinda like Jack’s compass in POTC).
Flint was able to use his Siren to locate treasure etc.
But as it turned, it was also the old Pirate’s desire to have a child. And so comes along his pride and joy- Elizabeth Flint.
It was to Elizabeth that Flint wanted to give his treasures to and since she was half Siren he had her bound to the sphere/orb thingy from the movie. He also instigated a curse upon her- to bind her to the Flint lineage (and being the protective father he is) he forbade any other pirate to touch her at pain of death.
Elizabeth resided with her parents until the passing of her father in a battle against enemy pirates. They’d managed to come across Flint’s hidden planet. It was a bloody battle that Elizabeth herself fought in but was not able to stop the single blaster shot to Flint’s chest.
He fell back into his chair where he died.
Elizabeth remembers little else of what happened after that. All she remembers is her mother taking her away and then waking up in an inn of sorts possessing only the clothes on her back.
Her mother left her a message, willing her to be free. The Siren had hoped that because of Elizabeth’s half lineage she wouldn’t, in fact be completely bound to the orb/map/thingy…. (im gonna have to give that one a name). So before she disappeared, Elizabeth’s mother separated orb from Elizabeth, locating them in opposite parts of the galaxy.
Unfortunately, though, that was the key back to the treasure… treasure that was to rightfully be Elizabeth’s. So setting out on a search for the item her travels took her years across the galaxy up until this day… Dum dum dummmm!

like the way you have no outline, and the use of gradient coloring and shadows are amazing!

Yeah, the three eyes are pretty freaky, no? I like the idea on how she's bonded to the map, when do you think Jim will meet up with her?
Lisa is bound to get jealous is he falls in love with a siren - we could have a love triangle of sorts!

Gah ya know i just realised both girls have "Elizabeth/Elisabeth" in their names! *slaps head*
Ah... well... we could use that i suppose. .
And dont worry, I have an idea. She may be a siren but she is still the daughter of Flint so while she is going to "belong" to Jim she despises him but as the story goes she develops a respect for him. Theres that and she is also bound by Flint's curse which can potentially reach across to Jim too if he isnt careful !
She is bound to serve Jim as well as those whom he cherishes.... thats after she tries to kill him o'course! Mwhahahah!

Hey, it's not a problem. Lisa's normally referred to by her nickname and not even her aunt (who's her legal guardian) knows her full name! So we'll stick to Lisa for the fict, it'll work out fine. (Of course, Jim could accidentally call Elizabeth 'Liza' and Lisa will try to kill him with her bare hands... What do you think?)
I wonder how a 'try-to-kill-Jim-Hawkins' scene would look like... Think I should try writing it? (I'm not very good at writing, so do you mind correct it when I'm done? )

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
